New Agent Sells 22 Homes and $12 Million Her First Year Calling REDX Expireds

A Brand-New Agent With No Idea What She Was Doing

Alana got her real estate license in November of 2022. A widowed mom whose kids had grown into their late teens, she was finally free to get up and build something of her own, something she’d always wanted to do. There was just one problem: “I didn’t know anything about real estate except that I own a home.”

22 Homes, $12 Million, And Rookie Of The Year

The first deal didn’t come overnight. She made calls in November, booked her first listing appointment around December 15th, listed in January, and didn’t close until April. But once it clicked, it really clicked. Her first year she sold 22 homes and did $12 million in sales, and was named Staten Island Board of Realtors Rookie of the Year and Top Producer.

Three years in, she’s at 57 deals closed and $41 million sold, with Top Producer awards in 2023 and 2024. Every morning at 8:45 she pulls the new expireds off the MLS, jumps on REDX for the numbers, and dials, first to call, every time. As she built up, she added GeoLeads to call neighbors near her sold listings. When she moved to eXp for more reach and commission, the very first thing she did was buy her own REDX subscription. “Without REDX, I’m in trouble.”

“Use REDX. Get On The Phone.”

Her advice to a struggling agent is simple: use REDX, and actually pick up the phone. “Even though you’re pulling up the expireds on the MLS, there’s usually not phone numbers there. REDX has the numbers that are the most recent.” She watched agents all around her ignore the same login she was handed and stay stuck. “A lot of agents are just afraid to get on a call. I was the only one who got on the phone.”

Alana keeps leveling up: luxury certified, associate broker, new construction next, maybe commercial after that. But the engine underneath it all hasn’t changed in three solid years. “This award has your guys’ name on it. Everything I have, I owe to REDX.”
